Lockdown update January 2021

With the latest lockdown measures currently forcing the Conygre Hall to close for nearly all users, the Group has decided to delay mounting any production until December 2021.

We have already chosen a very entertaining version of “Aladdin” which will be staged then, provided that we are able to get back to the hall for rehearsals in September.

This means that our production of “The Vicar of Dibley” will now be staged in Spring 2022 (dates to be confirmed). 2020 tickets will be valid for the same day of the week in 2022, but if anyone does want a refund, they should email timsburytheatre@gmail.com.

We are very sad to report the sudden death in December of Jeff Sluggett, a life member of the group. Although Jeff had not been actively involved in productions recently, he made a massive contribution to the group for over 25 years as stage manager, set designer, prop maker, technical director and occasional actor. He will be much missed by many people.

Thank you all for your continued support, stay safe and we hope to see you very soon.
